Returns & Refund Policy

At Valor Forge Tactical, we stand behind every product we carry. If something isn't right with your order, we will make it right. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return — it covers everything you need to know about eligibility, timelines, and how to get the process started.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

Item is in its original, unused condition

All original tags, labels, and accessories are still attached

Item is returned in its original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging)

Important: Tactical gear that has been field-tested, deployed, worn, or otherwise used cannot be returned for a refund. This includes items with signs of wear, dirt, odor, modification, or damage caused by the customer. This policy exists to protect the integrity of our gear for all customers. |
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

Final sale, clearance, or marked-down items

Items that have been used, worn, modified, or customized

Ammunition, flares, or other consumable items

Knife blades, fixed-blade knives, and edged tools (for safety and hygiene reasons)

Items marked as non-returnable on the product listing

Gift cards and store credit

Downloadable or digital products

3. How to Initiate a Return
Do not ship items back without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at the customer's expense.
To start a return, follow these steps:

Email support@valorforgetactical.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.

Pack your item securely and write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.

Ship the item to the address provided in your RMA confirmation. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Valor Forge Tactical is not responsible for lost return shipments.

Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Customer-Initiated Returns
If you are returning an item for personal reasons (change of mind, wrong size selected, no longer needed), the cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If your item arrived damaged, defective, or was the wrong item entirely, Valor Forge Tactical will cover the full cost of return shipping. We will provide a prepaid shipping label via email once your RMA is approved.
5. Refunds
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not issue refunds in cash or by check.
Refund Timeline
Once your return is received and inspected, please allow:

5–7 business days for our team to process the return

3–5 additional business days for your bank or card issuer to post the credit

Total timeline: up to 10–14 business days from the date we receive your return
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed. If you do not see the credit after 14 business days, contact your bank first, then reach out to us.
Partial Refunds
Valor Forge Tactical reserves the right to issue a partial refund in the following situations:

Items returned with missing accessories, tags, or original packaging

Items showing signs of use, wear, or cosmetic damage beyond normal unboxing
-
Orders that qualified for free shipping but fall below the threshold after a partial return
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for items of equal or greater value, subject to stock availability. If you need a different size, color, or variant, contact us before shipping your return and we will reserve the replacement item where possible.
For exchanges of greater value, the price difference will be charged to your original payment method. For exchanges of lesser value, the difference will be issued as store credit.

Fastest exchange tip: If you need a replacement quickly, we recommend placing a new order for the correct item and returning the original for a refund separately. This avoids delays during transit and processing. |
7. Defective Items & Warranty Claims
If your item arrives defective, fails under normal use, or does not match its product description, please contact us within 90 days of delivery. Defective item claims are handled separately from standard returns and are not subject to the 30-day return window.
To report a defective item:

Attach clear photographs of the defect or damage

Describe how the issue occurred or was discovered
We will assess the claim within 2 business days. Approved defective item claims will receive either a full replacement or a complete refund, including any shipping costs. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear.
8. Items Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged due to carrier handling:

Photograph the outer packaging and the damaged item before discarding any materials

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@valorforgetactical.com

Include your order number, a description of the damage, and your photos
Do not discard the original packaging — it may be required to file a carrier claim. We will file the claim on your behalf and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
9. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled without penalty if the cancellation request is received before the order has been processed for shipment. To request a cancellation, email support@valorforgetactical.com immediately with your order number and the subject line "Cancellation Request."
If your order has already shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may still initiate a return once the item is delivered, subject to the terms of this policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
Valor Forge Tactical reserves the right to update or modify this Returns & Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically, especially before making a purchase.
